Seminar “Soil remediation technologies in Vietnam: Pioneering sustainable solutions for Vietnam’s future”

BVA is pleased to invite you to the seminar “Soil remediation technologies in Vietnam: Pioneering sustainable solutions for Vietnam’s future” which takes place on 25th September 2025, from 12h-14h, at Hanoi Station Cameleon, A. Ariane 15, 1200 Brussels.

More than fifty years after the war, the legacy of Agent Orange still weighs heavily on Vietnam. Families continue to live with health problems passed down through generations, and large areas of land remain too toxic to use. Thanks to international solidarity, expertise and compassion, progress is being made to heal both people and land. Among them, many companies and individuals in Belgium have stepped forward to assist Vietnam by offering their knowledge, innovative solutions and care to foster a sustainable future in the areas impacted by Agent Orange. The importance of this issue was also highlighted during the State Visit of the King and Queen of Belgium last April.

At our seminar, we are proud to hear from:

🔹 Mrs. Chris Geyskens, President of the Belgian branch of Vietnam Association for Victims of AO/Dioxin, on her ongoing support for Agent Orange victims.

🔹 Mr. Jan Haemers, Founder & Managing Director at Haemers Technologies, on innovative soil decontamination technologies in Vietnam.

🔹 Mr. Franc Bogovic, Co-founder & Partner of Aquitara Impact Fund I, on remediating Agent Orange–contaminated land while developing Eco-Industrial Parks powered by renewable energy in Vietnam’s Southern Economic Zone.
