Celebration of the 78th National Day of Vietnam

On the occasion of the 78th National Day of Vietnam, the Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium invited more than 200 guests, including local officials, international diplomats and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Belgium, to mark the special day.

Addressing the event, Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao highlighted the growth of the VN-BE relations over the last 50 years with strong political trust. Vietnam has become the leading dynamic economy in the region and an important link in economic chains as well as regional and global production chains, a potential destination for high-quality investment flows, with more than 500 cooperation agreements in various fields, including 17 free trade agreements, he noted.
